Power for Good is a Community Benefit Society, owned and controlled by our members. Our purpose is to assist in raising funds for the installation of renewable energy measures on places of worship. This is achieved through launching community share offers. Once the capital has been raised, we lease the airspace from the host building, and commission the installation. We charge the host building for the electricity they use in order that we can repay our shareholders.
We positively encourage inquiries from any faith community.
We have run two successful share offers. The first one raised the funds to install photovoltaic panels on St Andrew’s, West Bromwich, and St Richard’s, Lea Hall, Birmingham:
With our second share offer, we raised the funds to install photovoltaic panels on the rear roof of New Life Baptist Church in Kings Heath, Birmingham.
